Scope of Diversity and Equality Policy

Equal opportunity policy applies to everyone-  all employees, job candidates, contractors, stakeholders, partners, visitors, and clients.

Policy elements

TSL provides the same hiring opportunities and benefits to everyone without discriminating based on:

How will this policy be implemented?

· Advertising. Job advertisements will not use wording that may discourage particular groups from applying.

·Recruitment. We aim to recruit the best-skilled person for the job. The interviewing processes will be conducted fairly and without bias.

·Interview Questions about health and disability. There are limited exceptions, where questions are necessary to establish if an applicant can perform an intrinsic job task or to establish if an applicant would be safe during the workday.

·Terms and conditions of employment. Our company conditions of service, benefits, and facilities are reviewed regularly to ensure that they are available to all employees.

·Disability. The requirements of candidates and employees who are disabled (as defined under the legislation) will be revised to ensure that reasonable adjustments are made to enable them to enter into or remain in employment with Total Laundry Solutions. Promotion opportunities, benefits, and facilities for disabled employees will not be unreasonably restricted. Reasonable effort will be made to guarantee that disabled employees participate fully in the workplace.

·Part-time workers. We will monitor the conditions of part-time employees and ensure that they are being offered suitable access to benefits and training.

·Training. Training will be provided to empower managers, supervisors, and other employees to implement and uphold the provisions of this policy.

The following forms of discrimination are banned under this policy:

·Direct discrimination: treating somebody less favorably because of a protected characteristic.

·Indirect discrimination: practices that apply to everyone but adversely affects people with a particular protected characteristic more than others.

·Harassment: this contains sexual harassment and other unwanted behavior related to a protected characteristic, which has the effect of violating someone's dignity.

·Victimization: retaliation against somebody who has complained or has supported someone else's complaint about discrimination.

·Disability discrimination: this includes both - direct and indirect discrimination, any unjustified less favorable treatment because of the effects of a disability.
